The much-anticipated autobiography of a sailing legend and renowned boat builder, who achieved sixteen transatlantic crossings and many other adventures at sea. This unique insight into Philip’s life, includes stories from his childhood days growing up in England; his years running Rawlins Plantation Inn on St Kitts; along with his sailing and racing adventures told through his ownership of TEN YACHTS.
Philip died at sea in August 2015 off the coast of Cornwall, in the final hours of his arduous 17th transatlantic crossing (solo).
The book includes yachting photographs from his personal collection together with 30 wonderful paintings by his wife, Kate Spencer Walwyn.
